The Client Side Encryption (CSE) drupal module allows encryption/decryption of content or parts of content within the browser. The main engine for both the viewing and editing of encrypted parts of the text is done in javascript. Consequently, it is only as secure as the browser/client machine. The CSE javascript was developed on the firefox/mozilla browser, but I have also checked it works OK on IE7 and Opera. I would not use it on IE6 (although, I have not tried it there). The module is designed for drupal 5 and above and probably will not work on earlier versions. Please report any comments on the drupal module page.
